- Interstate 26 East to exit 40. Route 280 West, WNC Agriculture Center, Airport
- Travel West on Route 280 for 15.8 miles until you enter the unincorporated town of Pisgah Forest, NC
- Turn left onto route 64, Hendersonville Rd. (traffic light at Eckerd Drug on left)
- Travel East on route 64, Hendersonville Rd. for 2.4 miles
- Turn left onto Lyday Loop. (this road intersects route 64 twice – this should be the first one which is across from Enon Rd.)
- Travel .4 miles
- Turn left onto Lyday Creek Road
- Travel 1.3 miles until a sign that reads “Road Ends in 500 Feet”
- Bear right onto Lazy Branch Rd. – a gravel road just past our mailbox (74)
- After short curve, bear right again onto gravel drive going up the mountain at sign that reads “The Karlsson’s at Boulder Ridge”
- Boulder Ridge is on the top of the mountain

- Travel .4 miles
- Turn left onto Lyday Creek Road
- Travel 1.3 miles until a sign that reads “Road Ends in 500 Feet”
